May is Bike Month 2018

Mayor Paul Freiling will lead the pack on a 5.6 mile ride from the Williamsburg Library to Redoubt Park. This event is free.  This is a casual ride suitable for all ages and abilities.  Start from the Library on Scotland Street.

Description

Williamsburg Mayor Paul Freiling will lead the pack on a 5.6-mile ride from the Williamsburg Library to Redoubt Park and back, riding through Colonial Williamsburg on the way out and back. This event is free and starts at the plaza in front of the Williamsburg Library. This ride is family-friendly and is intended for families with children that are able to ride without training wheels. There will be a Williamsburg Police escort, with police control at major intersections. There will be a rest stop at Redoubt Park, and ice cream to celebrate the end of the ride back at the Library. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and helmets are required for all riders.
