May is Bike Month 2018

Are you ready to celebrate Springtime in Williamsburg on your bicycle?

If so - you are in for a treat!  Find out about all the fabulous events happening in the Williamsburg area in the Month of May

The highlight of the month is the 21st Annual Pedal the Parkway, held on Saturday May 5th. 

This is a FREE family friendly event where you can ride the Colonial Parkway between Jamestown and Williamsburg vehicle free!

But that's just the beginning!

In preparation for May is Bike Month, BWW in partnership with WJCC Schools' Safe Routes to School is conducting a Bike Skills Rodeo for grades K-5 April 28.

There is also the Bike Month Proclamation Ride, the Mayor's Ride, Bike and a Movie, Bike to Work Day (including a celebration at Amber Ox) and PerchaKucha night!

Register your bicycle commute for Bike to Work Day and win a $50 gift Certificate!

With a couple clicks you can login with your Facebook account and register your bicycle commute plans for Bike to Work Day on May 18th.  You will automatically be entered in a drawing to receive one of two $50 gift certificates to a local bicycle-friendly establishment!

May is National Bike Month, sponsored by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast.
